If you hate us writers so much, then why would you waste your time on this site - hanging out in the Authors' Hangout, no less?

But I must admit that concept is interesting - and also a little scary. While I can't see a computer being able to compose anything like an immersive, original story, at least not this century, it's clear that they are encroaching more and more into the realm of human communication; not just as a medium, but as the very ones we are communicating with.

One of the first things I thought of while reading this is a likely twist on the "Terminator"/"I, Robot" plot line of computers taking over the world. Perhaps if it happens in real life, it won't be done via military conquest? Perhaps the computerized media will simply manipulate public opinion so that the humans elect a Playstation 7 as president?:rolleyes:

I know, I know, reality really sux and isnt fair at all. If a computer can crank crap out faster and better than drooling LIT authors what good are T-Ball trophies!

I must admit, I'm confused about the mentality, too.

Is there some kind of "angry sex" psychology to the taunting, Jim BJ? Like, do you figure that if you get the Lit authors all wound up, they'll go off in a huff and write steamier sex scenes?

Or are you one of those Westborough Church parishoners who enjoys finding new people to insult?

EDIT: Or perhaps you're a chatbot, programmed for evil.:D

For those that don't know, JB is a big reader but so far the only writing he has posted was a plagiarized poem.

Other than that, he seems to be a slightly off balance old man that won't stay on his meds and loves to get a rise out of people who actually write like he wishes he could.

He also comes across as homophobic and racist.

Most people have him on ignore.

The ignore function is your friend

Jimmytitties showed up in 07, to tell everyone that they didn't ever need to worry about correct grammar in their writing. He got disagreed with, went on the offense, got laughed at, got defensive, got dissed-- and has hated this forum ever since, and everything he posts is to Serve Us Right.

STELLA conveniently forgets the rest of the story. Real writing authorities dismiss the nazi-like obsession many have for grammar rules that were invented by school teachers, based on nuthin more than their pish-posh whims. STELLA laughed but can you really expect any other reaction from her?

The other thing is, STELLA makes sure she's on-hand when the dung gets flung, she likes its feel and aroma.
