My story disappeared!

A few months back, I wrote a part two of my second story "the Look" . After review, it said the story needed some editing. I looked over it and did some editing. In about three days , the story disappeared off of my submissions. I have not written any more since then. Is there a reason for this?

Did you resubmit it after having it edited? If you didn't, it the edit didn't register anywhere. In any event, that's way too long ago for anyone to trace down whatever happened to it. You should have kept track of it at the time.

Best thing you can do is check the editing and resubmit - perhaps changing the title.

It would help if you switch on your Private Messages. Go to User CP (top left of this page) then click on Edit Options (in the left hand column) and then tick Enable Private Messaging in the second box down. Make sure that the next box down (Receive Private Messages only from Buddies and Moderators) is NOT ticked. Finally click Save Changes at the bottom of that page.

Then send a PM to manu (who is the technical boss on Literotica) explaining what happened and asking for help.

_Something_ seems to have taken effect June/July of 2012 - Literotica ain't the only place that quite suddenly and without explanation began 'disappearing' oodles of files that were publicly available prior to July 2012. Additionally, even Motherless has begun extra logging of search criteria. To mention nothing of the increased number and stubborness of ARP and DNS reporters.
