Lucky you!
I don't know that I could ever have enough confidence in my work to actually try and publish it.
Gracias! It's been almost a decade now since I declared my intention to do this professionally. I'm very thankful for my years in the film business for toughening my hide. Writing is a never-ending series of rejections, punctuated by the occasional acceptance, and you just have to keep going, work harder, learn from mistakes, and believe. (All while not getting paid).
In the words of the late Andy Pausch:
The brick walls are not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something. Because the brick walls are there to stop the people who don’t want it badly enough.
Also, there is a radio host named Clark Howard who has a guide to epublishing on his website, too. You might find a nugget or two there.
Thanks again! I will check this out.
