Who here misses the mcrib?

I do next time I'm going to buy every last one in store and freeze them.

Omg, I loves them. I'm a member of the fan club even.

My local mcd's does sell them outside of when corp does so life can be good every now and then.

patient1 used to eat these until I found an article about what was actually IN them. I doubt he will ever eat another one.

You could say that for just about any animal product. A visit to a slaughter house will turn about anyone into a vegan.

Did you know that a nice juicy steak is really just dead flesh that's begun to purify? Mmmmm

I remember liking them, can't say I've eaten one in the last decade.

I'll take a good pulled pork sandwich over a McRib any day... or just some ribs.

I gave the McRib a try one time. Nothing to brag about. I have eaten at McDonald's maybe twice in the past decade or so? Why bother? You get overpriced junk food that leaves you hungry again 20 minute later.

Gross. People actually eat those? *shudders*

It's a brilliant marketing strategy. McD's could have them on the daily menu if they wanted, but demand would soon be flushed down the toilet.

The McDonald's McRib sandwich is an important part of depression therapy. Severely depressed patients are put on a 24 hour fast and then given a McRib sandwich. The therapist then tells the patient, "You will never have to do that again." The patient immediately feels better and is filled with hope for a better future.

I love them i've driven to other states for 3 dozen of them before. Mcd's should have a mcrib month! Consistent every six months or every year.

Which goes back to my "You get overpriced junk food that leaves you hungry again 20 minute later" theory.:D

Burnt cow flesh tastes better.

Amen. I like my steak with a crunchy exterior. Comes in handy having a husband that likes to burn things on the grill. :D He says I'm easy to cook for because no matter what he does to the steak, chances are I will still like it.

Nope, a slaughter house wouldn't bother me. And I worked (sort of) at a famous sausage maker company for awhile in the 80's. Their floor was so clean you could eat off of it. Spotless. And yes, I saw what went into their sausage and hot dogs. They used quality meats and I still eat their products today.

But the article abot McRib's almost made me puke. No way will I ever eat those things.
