Not in a "I'm a republican nut bag" kind of way.

In hate union reps.
I hate union bosses.
I really hate union third part negotiators!

They should all die slowly in a fire. After 30 hours of meetings I think I may be as stupid as Mike Yates. They are all a bunch of whiny ass bitches.

So does most of the country.

My very first contact with unions was an unpleasant one... I had no experience with them, and had a light bulb burn out above my desk. I actually tried to change it myself, which caused all manor of uproar, and caused a visit be made to my office by the shop steward to explain to me that that was a union task, and I was never to undermine their union in such a contemptuous way EVER again.

Fuck me naked if that made any sense, thank God!

My old company had locks put in on all the cubicle cabinets for Erisa/HIPPA reasons. One guy would come and drill the hole, another would come and place the lock, a third would come and screw in the lock, and a fourth would come and test the key.....It was a union thing that I could not possibly understand.

But these are just the results of the leadership. Try spending weeks and weeks actually dealing with the stupidity that put the process in place.

what does THIS mean?

care to explain

or

are you too busy with your HOT wife?

it means I hate unions for reasons beyond fox news telling me to

but do not be mad, most union supporters only support because MSNBC told them to.

what I love is when the fucktards call for a strike, and the "worker" doesn't collect a pay check but those union asswipes still get paid. seems to me that people who work for the afl cio should not be paid while a strike is going on.

also, what union does the afl-cio workers join to protect their "rights" from the evil "man"?

uggggh!!!

Back in my days of 'opposites attract', before divorcing my very liberal, NCAE member school teaching ex-wife, I was often her guest at their membership meetings. Little did they know my leanings, as I just listened while they planned and connived for more ways of fraud, waste, abuse, and upcoming tax increase requests. I just listened, very very well....

We should quit bailing them out after they crash the companies they work for.

Now these union thugs have the USDA/FDA etc. going after farmers markets and co-ops for every little thing they can bust them on.

I wonder if the unions and FDA/USDA are coordinating on the drone missions over ranchers and farms now? Should unions be given the authority to fly drone missions on blue collar American workers? Hellfire missile strikes on farms and ranches for failing to comply next?

Oh I don't.....I'm not paying 10 bucks for a gallon of milk are you fucking crazy? That's almost as bad as a 40,000 dollar volt, BAHAHAHAHAHA.

I'm a botanist for shit's sake I grow all my produce, and either hunt for my meat or get it from the local co-op/farmers markets with my other items.

I've been management and I have been a union member. I will admit that there is truth to most of the evils cited about unions. However, unions gave even non union members a better standard of living. And when unions are gone, millions of people will be fighting for low paying jobs that allow them to subsist without welfare. If the Republicans have their way we will be fighting for shitty low paying jobs with no benefits. As as been the trend, wealth will continue to flow in one direction but it will flow at a much faster pace. With no unions to fight for the middle class, there exists no other entity that can attempt to compete with the money that buys TV stations and other media and from lobbyists to politicians.

Unions are serving an ever diminishing purpose in modern America. In fact they are working more and more against the very 'middle class' they purport to love so much.

This is primarily true with those unions that represent the public sector, they are rapidly becoming the enemies of the tax paying public. The very future that FDR and George Meany foresaw with the advent of public employee unions, and the future they tried to avoid, is playing it self out before our very eyes.

Certain private sector unions still have merit, particularly the skilled construction tradesman. The assembly line workman has seen his last days. Most have been replaced by robots and those that haven't are highly skilled, very intelligent, decision makers that have no need of a union at all.

Most of the intelligent union members have already figured out that most of their dues are going to politicians that they don't necessarily agree with, not to any fund that might enure to their benefit long term. When given the opportunity to opt out, they do. One need look no further than Wisconsin to see the truth of that.

Want an example? Why is it that the foreign auto makers can build plants in the USA, in 'open shop' states and prosper? This has been going on for decades now and not one of those shops have been unionized, why not? Threats from management? Bull shit. It's because those workers are NOT unhappy.

Unions did NOT build the middle class. They did manage to elevate certain employees into the middle class in certain areas. The middle class existed in this nation long before the advent of unions. And it might be said that the unions are on their way to being guilty of destroying the middle class. Not by wages per se', but by the protectionist regulations they've spent so much time and money lobbying for.

How about another example? In the electronic industry the total labor content in the finished goods is typically 10%, or less, of cost. The assembly lines are totally automated and a 'line' (machine) that can turn out 5000 units/day is manned by 3 white smocked technicians in booties. It makes no difference whether those technicians are Chinese and paid $10/hr or west coast denizens paid $30/hr. (And yes sports fans, those Chinese technicians ARE paid $10/hr or more.) The difference in the cost of the finished product is a mere 10 cents as far as labor content goes. So why are all the electronic manufacturers moving off-shore? And if you don't like it you can always go Amish.
