Responding to Feedback

So I just posted my first story here, and I've already run across something I don't know how to handle.

See, I mentioned at the beginning of the story (and in my profile) that it was my first attempt at erotica, but not my first story. So someone sent me feedback and asked what I'd written before.

My problem is that, so far as I know, the only way to respond to a feedback comment is to email the person in question, and as my email address contains my real name, I find myself not wanting to do that. Is there some way of responding to feedback comments that I just don't know about?

I apologize if this has been brought up before. Like I said, I'm very new here.

If you mean Feedback as in it got emailed to you, then no, there's no way to respond without emailing that person back.

I suggest turning off your private feedback function and just let people comment on your story page.

If not, making a new Yahoo/Gmail account is simple and free. You should correspond all of your Lit email there.

Thank you!

Edit: Not to sound like a moron (well, more of a moron), but how do I do that? From what I can tell, I have the option to turn off all feedback, but that would mean no one could comment on the story either.

Just go to that person's profile page (you can search for the user name with the member search function about two thirds of the way down the front page). There is a contact tab on their profile, and you can send a message to that user without having to use your personal email.

Another handy idea is to set up a hotmail (or similar) account with an address that doesn't involve your name that you can use just for contact with Literotica user (or similar situations).

I have a separate gmail account for Lit -- I set that up specifically for Lit. Or as someone mentioned, go to the user's profile page, if you can.

If you're talking about a public comment, then assuming it's not anonymous, you can just click on their username, go to the profile, and then click on the username link on the profile (upper left) to send feedback.

I have a separate Gmail account for my Lit stories, as well as for Gmail chat for those who don't have the other instant messengers.

Thanks, Guys!

Thank you all for the help. I looked through the Members List and I think I found the fellow. I PMed him, explaining the situation, and I think that settles this particular instance. For the future, I'll be leaving a little note on my profile about feedback/comments; not sure if I want to set up another email account.

Again, thank you very much!
