RE: your MTV ad

If you ask me, I think what we're experiencing isn't in fact closer to a "growthless" recovery than to a jobless one. Because GDP started to grow more than a year and a half ago, but with the exception of just a couple of quarters, growth has not been noticeably above its trend rate of about 2-1/2 percent a year. I don't rejoice at the news that we added 216,000 jobs in March. About a hundred thousand of that 216,000 is needed every month just to keep up with the growth in the labor force. At this rate of job growth, it would take most of the decade to replace the eight 8-1/2 million jobs that were lost in the recession.

That means then natural population growth created the jobs and we lost $5,000,000,000,000 dollars to future debt obligations. That's $50,284.88 per citizen and while you can afford that, most of the rest of us cannot...

What did I miss? I have not paid attention to MTV in 20 years, and I never listen to anything coming out of Sarah Jessica Parker's mouth.

She ran a commercial during the awards show for yet another celebrity contest for dinner with the President in which she bragged how she was for the man who created 4 million jobs...

;) ;)

I swear to Gawd the President is a Kardahsian...

That sound ass backwards. More like natural population growth ate up the jobs, no?
That is true.

I am not sure on the numbers. Most of my news comes from the radio when driving these days. I think the annual # should be around 155,00 but last year it peaked at about 67,000 roughly?

If that is true, my employer provided about 20 of those jobs, but we are struggling not to lay off anyone. Income from our Texas office is actually keeping us out of the red. Inflow of money from our Ga home base is barely paying operating and equipment costs. We have stopped buying properties for now.

Well, I am reluctant to admit I voted for Obama with mixed regrets. Does not mean I am voting for him again though. Sometimes being an independent voter with no single party loyalty has its' disadvantages.

Ms. Parker may be a very likable woman, but I have never considered her words to be ones based upon her own original thinking.

No need to be reluctant.

I am proudly going to vote for him this fall.

I simply believe that not enough people have learned their lesson...

She looks more like a horse to me.

The only jobs Obama has created are for China and for government unions.

I see your point. A thought that has heavily influenced my voting decisions for the last 2 administrations.

I would fuck her, but only doggie (her face buried in the bed) and up the ass without lube!
