Best thing to fight of depression is movement. The release of endorphins. When you get pissed, go for a walk. Or kick the garbage can. Or play some music.

I've been there done that. We all got your back Lance. :kiss:

yep... also ... make sure your blood sugar isn't low... sometimes if i have a piece of fruit or some protein it will help me level out... I also know if i don't mb regularly I get owly.

I am thank you. I have to do some work on my home office tonight but I actually love my job so much, I don't mind :)

Blood sugar is soo fucked up! I had uncontrolled gestational diabetes. I was insulin dependent. After birth I was fine.
Last year I was diagnosed Type II. My HgA1C was 8.1! So I dieted, excersized, told my ass I just have to change it lost 30 pounds.
Now my HgA1C is 6.1. Woo hop!

HI NJ:kiss: great to see you. Thanks for the tips.;) I do all I can to avoid sparking them off, eating well, resting as well as I can,etc. I don't do any meds or drink alcohol, so it's a surprise when it just hits like that so fast.

It's not a surprise... I suffer from clinical depression as well... and I'd gotten to the point where getting out of bed was a challenge....

thankfully I've been pretty even...

You have chronic pain though right? You also tend to carry a lot of stress because you are a caregiver... I don't know what your daily life is like but you definitely are around here... you look after lots of people and like most empaths you internalize other people's pain....

it may sound hokey but have you tried yoga or meditation? You need to channel the negative energy you pull from others out of you... if you can concentrate on breathing and with each breath release the pent up aggression/pain... it WILL help.

Have you had your blood taken and make sure you have no definicies (I can never spell that word right). I take antidepressants but I also suffer from anemiea (again I can't spell that, it means low iron anyway) and that makes me get really run down sometimes and affects how I function.

Lol I have type two as well, but I lost 60lbs. My A1C is always around five though.
 
I do that NJ. I clear twice a day. I used to be with a spiritual therapist, who taught me a great many techniques. I won't even begin to go into what a horror story my RL is. That's just a Pity Party waiting to happen and we're not going there.;)

I just need a couple of things to get settled in my life and then I know I won't suffer from it anymore. Getting rid of the evil ex is the biggest thing. :mad:

What is an RL?

I'm not sure what a Spiritual therapist is but in my experience, and I had major depressive disorder, seeing a psychologist really helped me. It's good to get your thinking in order and have someone to give you actual steps that you can use to make your life better.

RL is real life. A spiritual therapist is someone who helps to rid you of negative energy and help you attain balance. I've seen her do some very amazing things, to myself included. I was a sceptic at first, but when you see it work, you have no other choice, but to believe.

It's all well and good to get rid of 'negative energy' but to be able to actually deal with that 'negative energy' or even find good or a lesson in that is a much better thing in my opinion.
But hey, different strokes for different folks lol

It's amazing how you can learn to let go of negative things.... I spent the afternoon with a master practicing tai chi. Some of the same things happen there.
