It's pretty easy to make.

3 cups confectioners sugar
1 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla
2 TBSP whipping cream

A good standby favorite recipe it seems.

The pork is almost done! Finally!! I think it was started around 12 hours ago. It's definitely slow cooked.

A dry rub that marinaded on it over 12 hours - from the Food Network Magazine. We have a BBQ sauce also from Food Network that we'll put on tomorrow for the party.

I'm off to bed, it's pulled and done! lol

I'll be up around 8 if not earlier to finish things.

Today is a day of wishes. I wish for everyone, health, happiness, love, kindness, bellies full and smiles.

Over the last few days there have been so many pains, hurts, sorrows. Sharing them here with friends is what we are all about. Today however lets share with each other the positive things in our lives. The positive things that we see in one another and the wishes for good things, specific good things, to happen to each other.

Thank you to Red for allowing us to hijack the thread once in awhile to vent and play. I wish happiness of the heart to you. A great party today. And lots of hugs and kisses from your friends and family. (RL as well as Lit)

good morning all the church thing is over and it has been a busy morning preparing the food for dinner later. decided on turkey today but don't want to wait forever so I disassembled it cooks faster that way. now I am going to have to rack my brain I remember that breasts and legs cook at different rates so they go in at different times still I am taking a couple hours off my cook time this way.
