Who needs voters when there are votings machines and hanging chats. This is not likely to remain a quiet little thread (especially when you all realize I'm in Canada).

The AG has been waging a war for the forgotten Obama voters, the kind who can't vote if identification is required.

There's bound to be some potential voters who were too young to vote last election, and figure Obama will give them a job if he gets re-elected. As for those democrats who have since died, I'm sure a high percentage could turn out to vote in cities like Chicago, Milwaukee, and Philadelphia.

After all, purging voter rolls regularly, verifying identification and requiring advanced registration and verifying it is discriminatory, and an undue burden on potential voters.

Let's face it, folks...we're a damaged people. We're not going to be truly happy as a species in an organized society and civilization until we're ruled by impartial emotionless robots impervious to the inevitable inherent weaknesses of human beings.

I for one, welcome my Matrix overlords! :D

That's it. I'm taking a sleeping pill and heading off to bed. When my writing gets that bad, it's embarrassing and time to end it for the day. (Ah, that's better!)

He will get them from each of the groups listed. All he has to do is bomb Iran in October and he will get the bump he needs to get reelected. Too many Americans are too uninformed to see through the wagging of the dog. But then again, I could be wrong...he may go against type and pull nothing from his sleeve this time.

It all depends on how well each voter is doing financially when the election rolls around.

If Chelsea Clinton lands anuther sweet gig making major money, and you gotta flip burgers with your college degree...could be a problem for The Messiah.

The only voters he need be concerned with are the Republicans that gave him the benefit of the doubt in order to get race behind us; he could can Holder, but it might be too late. There are those independents and moderates who tired of Republican spending; he can continue to lie to them about how fiscally conservative he has been and how he "saved" us from things like a double-dip recession or a Depression. There is, as Patient1 pointed out, new students who can easily be won with his tactics of anti-Capitalism, if he can somehow keep it compartmentalized as not to scare businesspeople of both parties. He can win fans with a student loan amnesty and he can declare an amnesty for illegals too close to the election for anyone to challenge its Constitutionality and finally, he can win Colorado by endorsing pot, which probably explains a lot about Petey's posts...

;) ;) :D

And he can continue to talk about dogs, polygamy, dressage, fancy clothes and rich cronies...

Youre right. But his fate is tied to those with gubmint income and patronage.

Even they will turn on him if they start suspecting Mitt can deliver them and President Obama can not...

;) ;) Economics is the study of self-interest!

Sure. Gubmint is shedding 1000s every month, and union membership is falling.

Personally, it looks like we're beyond fixing. I got this really crazee idea that student loans are gonna shrink, and lotsa perfessers are gonna flee to McDonalds for work.

Speaking of self-interest, sooner or later our Hitler-Bush is gonna come along and suggest that the Nigga is homesteading lotsa good jobs.

We could be at that tipping point but I see positive signs in Wisconsin and other places; an aging America just might be a more rational America wanting to look for real answers, not just listen to slogans and get all lathered up on Altruism.

We can hope!

Ch-ch-ch-ch-ch, turn and face the strange ch-ch-changes...

I believe Blacks and Jews will stay the course and vote for Obama, again, and for many different reasons. I don't think 80% of Jews will vote Obama this time, perhaps less, but majority of them still stay the course.

Most I talked to dont think Obama is doing a good job, still they don't want to go to the so called "dark side" and vote repubican.

Latinos, women, white evangelical Bible Belters who can't bear the thought of a Mormon prez, old hat Republicans and Independents who are repelled by the Conservative derp-fest.

But all that is marginal. It's all about which candidate can turn it's base's enthusisasm from room tempered to at least luke-warm. The race is between "Oh all right, we're stuck with Romney then" and "Oh all right, four more years...I guess?"

I'm sorry, but they BBs are less afraid of Mormons than they are Marxists...

The old hats voted with him. They learned their lesson and they got the most Liberal Republican through the conservative gauntlet.

And I and sorry to inform you of this, but in every venue I participate in, radio, blogs, other media, there is a greater passion for getting rid of Obama than retaining him, especially after this week.

The only thing Romney needs to do is prove he doesn't have three eyes and four wives...
