Crime runs rampant in the big city

I am no fan of Bieber, in fact, that was the first time I knowingly saw a his photograph. (He was the one in black, right?)

However, I feel confident that in this case, we are dealing with the story of a paparazzo who pushed the kid to the breaking point, and is now milking his luck for all it’s worth — possible a couple hundred grand.

I think the larger story is, how low has the man sunk who goes to the police admitting he's just been roughed up by the Bieber? It's like a sixth-grader telling his dad that the girl in second grade beat him up and took his milk money.

This certainly was my first thought when I heard this story.

I hope he fights this all the way, especially including the civil suit, which is almost certain to be filed. I'm no fan of boy singers like him, but I'm less a fan of the buzzing flies.

BTW: That Selena Gomez is really hot isn't she. :p

Maybe I'm just crazy, but I always thought that Gomez is really funny-looking

She just has a very small round perfectly-featured face. In some of her pictures (especially when she was younger) she looks like a weird porcelain doll.

Also, her mouth is funny.

In defense of Justin Bieber
By Dean Obeidallah CNN

Some sort of accommodation in the law, such as Obeidallah suggests, has long been needed. Neither celebrities' lives nor our society is improved by tolerating these bottom feeders.

I don't think anybody here is atacking him. I have to admit, I don't know many of the facts but, under no circumstances, would I take the part of the alleged victim, if he is what he is said to be.
