There are no alternate routes from Kansas to Dallas hon. It's pretty much a straight shot down on the main turnpike/highway (I don't do back roads .. takes too much longer to get to the destination, and it's too fucking scary.. might end up in Texas Chainsaw country )

And.. it was just hubby, daughter and I. Hubby concentrates on driving for the most part, I take care of switching out the cd's and do my crossword puzzles or read, and the daughter has her ipod plugged into her ears to listen to music and do whatever on it lol

Hope you get a chance to catch them this summer. They sounded really good. That year off was JUST what they needed
