What a spring we're having!
I have mums blooming! In MAY!
Day lilies, Asiatic lilies, clematis, cosmos, roses, what a year for roses! cattail, lizard tail, yucca, the cone flowers are huge buttons ready to burst, mimosa is budding and we were spared this year's annual monsoon so we've actually been out a lot (well, this week past, when not at the hospital) and some of my bamboo has topped the 20-foot mark.
Potatoes, peas and beans are in full bloom as well as the last of the sage and the tomatoes look like they are getting big enough to bloom at any time. The chicks have feathers and I am trapping pretty much a squirrel a day, the little rascules!
I've been reading J.B. Say having finished part one of Wicksteed, I reread some Tolstoy and I read a book about the Cuban resistance, a football book by Billig, and now I'm working on a book on China policy and one about Chinese women from Guangzhou to Manchester, UK.
Hope ya'll are doing as well!
