I spend a lot of time in doctors office and therapy waiting rooms when hauling my father around. If like me you have an android phone with the quick office app. This nifty little thing will allow you to write just about anywhere, anytime. It's just wide enough to allow me to type normally.

Looks useful for those who write on the fly. I can't. I can't have those kinds of distractions when I write--and I can formulate plots and plot twists in my head. I don't need an external device for that.

SR I don't know if it's the years I spent working in a cubical city or the self hypnosis and bio feedback training I had to help deal with my arthritis issues but I can zone in on a project and the rest of the world fades away.

I've also used it to snatch an hour of writing time at the local park while I wait for the pharmacy to fill a RX for my father. It is a much more peaceful and serene setting, though the nest of blue herons at my favorite place to park has become very noisy of late.

It's just a lot more handy than dragging my laptop along.

I keep a notebook with me most times, but I'd probably prefer writing on some kind of app. However, since I don't think I can afford a smartphone and necessary data plan, then it will be paper for me.
