The budget has 0% chance of becoming law. Voting for it means giving Republicans a free campaign commercial in an election year for absolutely no benefit. So the Democrats decided not to submit Obama's budget in the House.

Then in some Epic political theater Republicans submitted a Democratic budget. It's pure partisan drama meant to stir up low-information conservatives like yourself.

The Constitution mandates that he submit a budget. It doesn't mean that congress has to pass it or even take it up. Dems didn't vote for it because there's no reason to. Politically they're far better off not voting for deficit spending and instead letting the Republicans continue to float the shameful Ryan plan which just puts bulls-eyes on their backs.

It's all just political games. The Ryan budget is part of the same game in case you want to engage in a little political self-reflection.

If someone told you, you need to spend time and energy preparing a presentation, but just FYI, while you talk we're all going to sing Christmas carols and then do the opposite of what you suggested, would you really put in effort anyway? Don't you have better things to do with your time?
