Congratulations, THROBBS. I admire you being so steadfast.
I agree! Live up to the "visual artists corner" name. Show don't tellI think more drawings should be posted to show the excitement the artists are feeling at having their very own place.![]()
Let's see what becomes of this?
(after all my whining)![]()
If you want to draw the rest of the forum members into participating here more, maybe a challenges or artist/writer collaboration matchmaking thread would be good.![]()
Okay, at first I was like, what? I have this section tabbed in my browser and didn't feel the shift. But now I see what you did there!
You're like a one-man Occupy Erotica Street movement, eh Throbbs?
Not to worry...I haven't forgotten this joint yet. Just gotta move some stuff past the pencil stage, cuz I can't serve no wine before its time!
Thank you Throbbs for your great work on this!
Yep.
We have done challenges (while up in the coroner corner). Perhaps we will start again.
Collaborations could also be very good!
I actually meant a different thing by challenges - rather than a contest for artists, I meant non-artists say "I would really like to see someone draw XYZ" and then if any artist wants to draw something but wants some erotic ideas they browse through the suggestions and see if they like any, or even combine some.
Cool then.Right on!
Done that too!
I really enjoy it.
I actually did a couple stabs at Stella_Omega's "challenge"/request/invitation.
Or ZipBlockBloodie's character request.
I also have done a number of Illustrations around LITSTERs' concepts...
Having a thread just for that can be great!
As is when authors go to illustrators who they feel are well matched to their vision.
The "contest" aspect of the previous word challenges was merely a mechanism to move them forward> winner declares the next word, and "hosts" the new thread.
The words were catalysts and the big fun was seeing all the different interpretations.
