Do any Ladies of Lit have suggestions for where a mature, ample woman can go for complete waxing? Most of the places I know are staffed by very young women -- I don't want to scar them for life (lol) and I think some enhanced techniques would be good for someone like me. I LOVE the totally waxed feeling!

Thanks -- hannah

Go to any place that offers Brazilian waxing (and actually trains their staff in the waxing technique). If you want, you can ask if the wax itself is formulated for sensitive or mature skin. Or, alternatively, you can go to a medical spa that also waxes, as they tend to cater to a wider age range.

Trust me, the aestheticians have seen it all, and they really don't care what you look like. Their main goal is to make you, their client, to feel as good about herself as possible. My aesthetician once told me that she wishes that women stopped feeling insecure about themselves when they go see her - it's her job to make them feel fabulous. That kinda stuck with me.

Good luck and happy waxing :)

......

I wax at the local beauty salon where almost all the girls are in ther 20's. A little embarassing at first but I have been made comfortable and I have been going to the same girl now for almost 5 years. She is in her late 20's I guess and she makes me feel comfortable.
Go for it Hannah
