For those who want pics, I don't think they're going to happen today.
It's 1030am here now, and the temp has just struggled to 5 deg C. All the mummy sheeps are down the hill in the hollow (the front paddock falls away about 60 metres downhill from the house) and they've got their babies all bunched together to get out of the gale-force winds we're experiencing here today.
And it's snowing lightly.

I've just sent the boys down to pick up the ones that didn't survive the night.

Rib and Loin, twins from last year, were an emergency caesarian from a prolapse. I hate it when that happens - most often, the ewe can't be saved either.
But we decided to hand-rear them, and tey were lovely with baby potatoes and parsnip mash and rosemary gravy

I've actually heard of people eating unborn baby lambs -- "lambryos." But, that was in a novel, don't know if it's for real.
