Author/reader demographics

So I'm fairly new to the forums, but not to the site. I have a question though: I'm interested to see exactly who makes up the Literotica community. For example, I am a 19 year old male full time student from the USA. I get the feeling that I am a somewhat unusual example of a Literotica author. On the other hand, I have no idea what a typical Literotica author is. Let's get a thread going to see exactly who we are, and how that shapes the community.

A better question is to ask are you atypical for an author that posts on AH?

Interesting point. I suppose a fair number of authors never come on the forums. Heck I didn't until recently. But I still am skeptical that young males make up a large part of the authors on the site. Readers maybe. Who knows. I might just be falling prey to false assumptions. That's why I asked.

This site is pretty wide-ranging on age and interest. I don't think there's a typical author, or reader for that matter.

Alwayswantedto was nice enough to post that link in another thread. I'm not sure how accurate those stats are though.

But judging by all of the profiles I look at, I would imagine the average range is between 30-50 years old. That would be my estimate.

There are only three types of people on Lit. Readers, writers, and trolls.

Every reader on this site is a pervert, some are just old perverts, some are just perverts with boobies. Some are perverts who rub one out in front of their computer and then don't wash their hands.

Every writer on Lit is better than every other writer, they are also perverts. Every writer can also write a better story than the one that that other author wrote.

...and then there's scouries. He's like Betelguise. Just say his name three times and he trolls. Most other trolls require less input. The trolls are also perverts.

The thing that boggles my mind is that there is higher traffic from India than from the UK! Who knew...they're kinkier than the British.

I actually find that to be very believable.

There's a ton of comments & stories from India. And the funny thing is, as far as I've seen, they're all mother/son. I've never seen an Indian author write anything else.

But with people from the UK, you get all genres. (incest, cuck, interracial, older woman, ect...)
