One is going up on youtube soon but its of me and one of my students doing a Romani Gypsy duet. The first part of it is to a Rajasthani song that blends into a Greek song called Two-Two. Dui dui means "also" so the singer tells about being a Gypsy and also Greek.

I just did a Moroccan private party a couple of weeks ago but those vids don't get out. And I've got a private party coming up where I not only dance but will also be reading cards. Not Tarot cards; regular playing cards the way my GreatGrandma taught me.

Well yes and no. its very popular actually but as a Mediterranean specialist I must agree that fusion is taking over rapidly. What I do is historic re-creation for specific locations within a certain era. If its Turkey or Spain or Egypt or whatever... its specific to a certain region of that country. And I often perform for American families who are from those countries who know what's what. Its nice to be appreciated for being authentic and tasteful.
