I've been applying every-damn-where in my area and on my fifteenth application, I finally got a bite!

It's for a Family Video nearby... I got the idea to apply when one of my high school friends told me about it. She couldn't work there because despite the name, Family video has a small and lucrative pornography section.

Going to the interview in a bit... Family Video is one of the few video stores that are still doing well in this day and age because the most expensive rents they have are for the pornos at $4 for five days. Blockbusters are $2, hot older releases are $1, older movies and moderate newer movies are only $.50, and kids movies are free with another purchase.

That way, if netflix is too high tech for you, or even if you just don't want it to arrive, people are still going to movie stores.

YAY! No one can accuse me of being off topic because I mentioned PORN!

Congrats. Didn't think there were any brick and mortar stores left. All the ones in my area are gone as far as I know.

It's heartening to know that there are still old school rental stores out there. Video was floated by pornography when it was born as a format, and now in it's old age so it returns

Interview went okay, I'm still looking because even if I get in, it will only be six to ten hours a week Now I've applied to Champps, Dollar Tree, and Adagio's Pizza factory as well.

Oh man, the last place in the world I needed to work as an undergraduate was a pizza place. I'd end up owning them money! I still remember the night when two couples of us went out for pizza one Sunday night and the two guys each ate a Shakey's giant . . . by accident!
