Thank you both. Yes, we had some tornadoes go through last night. We had house rattling thunder, strobe light like lightening(oooh, say that one ten times, fast. *lol~) horizontal rain and nerve wracking hail.

When daylight broke here, we just had some downed tree limbs,(lots of leaves and twigs and whatnot)and some bedraggled looking and understandably skittish chickens. The major system of rotation skirted us.


Jane, i DID go out on the back porch- even after saying it was too vicious out there to be out in it. *shakes head, smirking at myself~ sometimes, you just gotta see it. feel it. taste it.


but i'm considered a weird one. I've been in buildings tornadoes have hit, 5 times in my life. I've been flipped, shaken, rattled, rolled and tossed.- all while sopping wet and unable to catch my breath.

sounds almost yummy, doesnt it?
