This is not an accusation against men. This is a true story, and it illustrates the fact that women are often cautious and easily spooked. Maybe the dude had no intention of hurting her, but she could not wait to find out. Because when you're in that situation, the finding out part is too dangerous.

'Tis always wise to tread lightly into the sexual minefield. If/when things blow up, they could get quite ugly. This is also (especially?) true now days in the work place. Where I used to work, there were several instances of sexual harassment that ended up with people being fired and there were also several ugly divorces that resulted from the same explosions. They can't arrest you for what's in your mind as long as it stays there.
