Ever wondered what Wonderland could have been like with darker desires and intent? What if the Mad Hatter was truly a mad, scheming bastard with far too many ways to help celebrate truly wicked unbirthdays? What if the King and Queen held internal power struggles that rocked the entire land? What if those venturing inside were treated and sold as slaves or taken as common property? What hope would a poor lost soul like Alice ever have of returning home?

Huh. I haven't even been back for more than a couple of days. I'm not even sure who still writes on here that I know minus those who are already in the thread... and a few others who wouldn't take up the role. I'll let ya know if I come up with any ideas.

I am slowly but surely putting a profile together for the King.

Working on it. Kinda.

I'm not even sure how in-depth to go with this or any character. Should we give them a past or a backstory? I mean... I've never really considered anyone in Wonderland really having a backstory. Just kinda makes them all the more cooky and mysterious.

And do we want a specific layout, or maybe call it a bit of a "dynamic" setting, where maybe things move sometimes, and only those who've been there the longest can truly find anything on purpose? Might help explain why Alice gets so lost, and why she doesn't just run away after her first... experience.

Also, is my castle built out of a deck of cards? I foresee problems with soundproofing. Among other things.

These are the things I have been trying to figure out for the past few days, and why the profile is going so slowly.
