Mitt Romney is getting more action in these forums than sex.

Wife and I rocked the boards the other night, and I have to be honest, that was so much better than politics. Only one poll was taken, and it was accurate, and positively responded to.

Girl at coffee house down the street. I just figured she would fade from my curiosity, get another job, have a boyfriend for longer than three months, or something. That was two years ago. She stops me on the street the other day, and we had one of those conversations that transports you. New York, museums, Broadway, the whole bit. Just talking up her upcoming vacation.

I walked away, imagining a ticket in my hand to New York. A weekend romp with a hot coffeehouse girl in the big apple. Art and sex. City and fuck. Smiled and got my fantasy on.

I took a last sip of my americano, dropped back into reality, and lost my erection in time to start the workday.

That's because the most prolific posters on here are currently a handful of much older men who haven't had sex in years + younger men who emulate them.

They tend to be malcontents, and range from right center to right fringe in terms of politics. A number of them are overtly racist, which attracts some of the Stormfront.org crowd (small number making a large amount of alts). In short, not a very sexy atmosphere.

When I got here in 2003, sex still dominated.

I think it was a confluence of a number of things. The racist right-fringe was always around, but somewhat obscured by the erotica types for a long time. Other venues for sex talk (as opposed to sex literature talk) became available. A less desirable element came in while a lot of the fun people left.

The admins are very hands-off - and that's to their credit in terms of having a free-speech forum - but the consequence was that the place aged quickly. You've got to do some gardening for fresh veggies, y'know.

In reality, RoryN is an ugly Canadian woman who admited that she couldn't get guys to like her in high school. She's turned her low self-esteem into a one-woman obsession against what she terms the "right wing" to make herself feel better.

There are many other fringe left posters on here as well (they clearly dominate yet cry when a minority of other posters don't agree with them), yet Rory is the most obnoxious of the lot. I would strongly suggest ignoring her and any of her known alts.

That said, feel free to discuss sex. No one is stopping you.
