Well. it looks like we will be losing Levon at any time now. One of my fondest memories was attending the Last Waltz show at Winterland in SF in Nov. of 76.
The Band's timeless music was often anchored by Levon's distinctive vocals, as well as his work behind the drum kit.

Rick Danko and Richard Manual predeceased him, but when they were all together a palpable magic occured on stage when the band played.

My prayers and thoughts go out to this simple genius.
