For the last 2 years, something has been 'not quite right'.
I have had every test known to man, and apart from discovering that I am peri-diabetic and peri-menopausal, the docs couldn't figure out exactly wtf was going on.
Recently, I had yet another round of blood tests, and finally the results are showing up an anomoly.
It appears I don't produce enough Lipase enzymes (they are the ones that help digest fats).
I can't take the supplemental therapy due to my Pro Thrombin Gene Mutation... all the females in my family have this... so now I need to completely eliminate certain fats from my diet.
I have an appt with a nutritionist next week, as I will need to have some kinds of fats to keep everything functioning.
Plus I will need some tips on what I need to swap in my cooking (I would like to still be able to make certain meals, just without the obvious fats that I have been using so far).
I am happy that we finally know what is going on.
