Hi!
So I'm new and stuff....actually, I'm not. I've been a reader for a long time, under a different name, but I've just finished a story I'd like to submit and wanted to create a new account so I could use a pen name. Anyway, its actually an excerpt from a much larger story I've been working on for a while. I'm pretty good at spelling, grammar and punctuation, so I need someone who is awesome at the other stuff...continuity, consistency, etc...and good at sex words. I'm not good at sex words. :(

Its nothing too fantastic, only 4 pages and just over 2,000 words. Erotic Couplings is the category I'll submit it in, when I'm ready to submit it. So if anyone wants to help out, I'd appreciate it greatly. ^_^ My e-mail is on my profile.

Thanks guys!

You'll get more responses if you go to your User CP > Edit Options and check the box that says "Receive PMs".

Also, 2000 words isn't quite a full Lit page...

Ah, derp. Enabling PMs should have been obvious, thanks.
I realize 2k words is light, but I was afraid of making it too long. I just assume most people are like me and have small attention spans. I'd ultimately like to upload the complete work, so using this excerpt is kinda a way for me to test the waters.

Uhm... I think 1 Lit page is 3500 words or so, and I rarely read anything less than 2 pages when I read stuff. However, being the total hypocrite that I am, I wrote a one-off short story that rang in at 4500 words. Barely over 1 Lit page.

Hrm.
Looks like I'm going to be fluffing it up a bit, then. =/

Not necessarily needed. The minimum accepted is 750 words, so 2000 is quite acceptable by Lit's standard.

To paraphrase my good friend:devil: Snooper, a story should only be as long/as short as the storyline dictates; not one word more or less.

I will disagree, the minimum I believe is 700. Could be wrong, just saying. Pretty sure the minimum is 700.

The minimum is 750. You can find that information here in #4, which states:

We do not currently accept submissions under 750 words.
