Arrived at new zip code of residence safe and sound.
Just one blown tire on the trailer, but it was a minor bump on the road.
That's the nice thing about an adventure. An event with a plan can have things go wrong, on an adventure there is no plan, so nothing ever goes wrong.

Now, off to make up for three weeks without. :D

ok so how do you explain how fat you are to somebody?
i know im beautiful, i know im hot, but last time this someone saw me i was also 16 lol i am NOT 16 anymore and i dont know how to tactfully describe my roundness.

Honesty. You probably view yourself far more harshly than anyone else would too.
I'm sure the person knows you aren't 16 anymore. They've changed too.
I've gained some weight since I hit 35 but I actually like my slightly larger but still perky breasts, bigger hips, and womanly softness. Sure I could stand to lose 15, but I'm not running to the gym.
You could send an honest pic too.

he didnt ask...am all for picture taking lol. i kind of have the feeling i am not really who he is looking for anyway

I started high school at a size 16, dropped down to a 8/9 during the middle and finished at a 16. I'm currently a 16, but I have larger boobs than I did then (and mine were never perky, I blame a mother who refused to acknowledge that her 8 year old was growing tits) so I guess I'm a bit lucky that way.

But we do tend to judge ourselves harsher than others do.

I had a crew person who would say "I'm a bit fluffy" and I kind of liked that.

Ahhh then don't sweat it. There's someone looking for who you are.

Remembers her own dating rocky road and cringes. Aww hell I'm the worst to give advice.
*backs away*

Isn't she due to have the little one any time now?

Is she??? I was gone for quite a while there, so it looks like I definitely have missed something, if that really is true. I meant Lizzie Borden, in case you're thinking of some other Lizzie. :)

In any case, I miss seeing her around here.

Where were you procrastinating for so long

Knowing that in 18 days I'll have some one right there that I can boink any time I fancy has me hornier than I think I've been in my life.

So glad we did the tourist thing the first time I was there. :D

One trip is not enough time to see all the touristy spots in Ireland. :p

Well, no not all of Ireland, but we saw most of them in Dublin.

There's really only 3 major ones in Dublin that we didn't see and 2 are on my list that I'd like to see. But last trip was focused on showing me his part of the world, were this one is about just being together.

Besides, seeing the ones outside of Dublin is going to take a lot of sweet talking. And I'm going to have to learn to drive a stick as well as brush up on their driving laws.

Warning - if Ireland is like the UK, you are not allowed to drive a manual transmission car unless you passed your driving test in a manual car*. I supose you could get round that by driving on L-plates with Jounar in the passenger seat, but I think you'd need to obtain a provisional local driving licence to do that.

OR Ireland may be COMPLETELY different from the UK on all of that.

(* we have two types of driving licence - if you pass your UK driving test in a manual car, your licence allows you to drive manuals and automatics. But if you passed your test in an automatic car, your licence only allows you to drive automatics).

Edited to add - I've just remembered that my boyfriend's American wife had to pass a UK driving test before she was allowed to drive here other than under L-plates (and she had to apply for a UK provisional licence to drive under L-plates). All this in spite of the fact that she'd been driving in the USA for 20 years.

I'm so glad Australia is not that way...SEEMINGLY (we're not 100% sure), I can just pop right to a full driver's license without fiddling with all those Ls and Red/Green Rs or whatever :p

Yeah, it's the same in Ireland, and it has been a while since I've looked into tourist driving laws. But our driving licences here don't state whether we took the test under an automatic or manual.

He does drive now, but I get the impression that he doesn't like to drive, where I love driving, and being able to offer that might nudge the tides in my favor. Though when I talked to him about this oh about a year ago I guess, I got the impression that he wouldn't let me drive anyway.

I figured I'd learn how to drive a manual here first, then worry about if I could or couldn't drive there later. It's kind of a moot point if I can't drive a manual as renting an automatic is nearly double the price and I'm just stingy enough with my money to forego site seeing because of it.

Now I had read a guide book that said you could drive in the UK as a tourist with your American driver's licence, but that could have been out-dated/ misinformation. Like I said, it's been a few years since I've looked into it.

But if I were to move there, then I'd for sure have to go through all the steps, including some driving lessons. I never took driver's ed here, I'd probably be pretty grumpy about it there.

We have one of the toughest driving tests in the world (I've heard only South Africa is harder). In her ten years married to him, my boyf's wife never managed to pass our test.
