My partner and I have started calling that damned thing "the Jane Russell Bra Strap" from the motion we have to make all day long. Time for one of those vest things.

The current trend is the guardian vest with no leg straps worn, what good that would do you I don't know, but the safety guys never seem to worry about it.

I do believe that many of the safety guys aren't as interested in your safety as they say they are.

Indeed, it's suspected that their main purpose is to watch guys that the company wants to get rid of, in order to catch them in some fireable infraction like three no safety glasses writeups in a row or whatever, meanwhile the moneymaking company connectors are climbing columns over a 300 foot drop with no retractables because they were in a hurry and no one says jack.
