Fluke is a Fraud

I don't know how many women have to take Loestrin; I'm not a doctor. Presumably the doctor is prescribing what's best. If not, don't we need a panel to establish the effectiveness of a drug and it's use? ;)

You know you can get Viagra on line for 50 cents a pill? No need to put that through the insurance!

I don't know what the last paragraph means.

Like I said, if it is absolutely necessary, as one woman in another thread pointed out, the insurance companies are already pretty much mandated to cover preventative care and their are organizations and plans to help women too poor to afford it (but with this woman's degrees, one wonders why she decided to forgo a career for more education and politics unless, of course, all along she had her sights set on bringing down the Church).

I have never really researched viagra.

As for that last paragraph, let's put it this way, in an election year you get NO REPORTING on Fast & Furious because it's too important to firmly establish that the Republicans are running on the contraception denial platform.

The same press that never once vetted "Dreams" but sent 11 reporters to fact-check Sarah Palin's book...

;) ;)

Why? What number will prove to you that there is a problem here?

Well, you don't have to run it by Zandi, but there has been nothing but emotional attack on the issue and no hard numbers presented to us and one has to suspect that it because the numbers cannot possibly substantiate the "serous charge" being leveled at those "evil" Republicans.

I rather suspect that you don't care if the number is any more real than the charge.

I know the MSM does not care; they just want Obama reelected and it that effort, no blow is too low and no lie is too big.

Birth control is already free. It's called abstinence. And if she's a serious law school student she shouldn't have time for sex.

If she's a serious law student, she prioritizes her time so as to have a balanced life. She gets her work done and she has a personal life.

As a grown woman, abstinence is hers to choose.

you, DISHONEST PIECE OF SHIT

have no WRIGHT to post in a thread about FRAUD

Wait, what? Now this is all a non-issue because the mandates were already in place? And you've been fine with them all along? This is exactly what I mean when I say your position on things is incoherent.

Also you're wrong.

There are organizations in SOME areas that can help a LIMITED NUMBER of people with a LIMITED RANGE of medications on a SHORT TERM basis.

Fixed your post for you.

The Catholic Church regularly covers Viagra. For single men. What does the Church think these bachelors are going to do with that Viagra filled on a Friday on the way home from work? How come they condone single men fucking their weekend away on the Church's dollar but they resist covering birth control for women with ovarian cysts on the grounds that they might also use it for sex?

This is just another reason why it's a women's issue.

Fast and Furious has virtually nothing to do with Obama. You want to make it a presidential-level election issue because you're desperate as hell and I understand that. But the fact is that it's not a presidential issue.

Numbers are irrelevant. Just ask the Catholic Church. Or Rick Santorum. Or Limbaugh. They'll all tell you numbers don't mean shit. Every woman in the country could show up with documentation of their financial hardship and these people wouldn't care in the least bit.

Still no facts there merc; just more serious charges...

:(

Who said that I was making Fast&Furious about anything other than Eric Holder?

Just more ad hominem. You lie smoother than you attack.

It's all easier than defense...

What ad hominem?

What facts do you want that you do not already possess, and what fact will lead you to change your mind?

Tell me what ad hominem you see in my post above.

There we have it.

You don't care about numbers anymore than you care about truth.

Not a single person you named brought the subject up first. It was brought up by a former member of the Clinton administration sans fact as Romney patiently tried to point out and since it was brought up facts have not mattered one wit because its a serious charge designed to fire up a rather flaccid Obama base; political Viagra...

It's not about whether or not I, they or you care, but if it is actually true. The truth is, no one on the Republican side decided to run on or attempt to make contraception illegal, this was a fight manufactured at the uppermost echelons of the Democratic Party as was the testimony of self-proclaimed women's issue activist Mz Fluke during the manufactured "hearings" covered by a compliant and willing media as if it were all real.

An attempt to impugn and thus impeach my motivations.

The reality is that their smooth and blatant lying offends me as much as yours.

It's called hypocrisy, another serious charge that you like to level at everyone in conversation after conversation...

Well, what do you know? Merc used three liberal loonie tactics in one post

  1. Change the subject when you're losing the argument
  2. Deliberately lie
  3. Make add hominem attacks

All he needs is to create a fake hearing and have some "expert" testimony brought in by his former alt...

You put it in context of an election year. Which ballot is Eric Holder on?

The Obama ballot.

He cannot be forced to resign in scandal during an election year.

He is needed to keep Affirmative Action permanent and to fight for Mandates...

Holder has been known as a real idiot here inside the beltway for a long time. It's nice that his fame is spreading.

Yeah.

1) What "numbers" are you talking about? If you want to know how many women are impacted by their employers not covering birth control my answer is that A) the question is meaningless because as long as there's reasonable potential for hardship it's enough, and B) The Democrats are putting contraception in the preventive care bucket so the number will be zero.

2) I could give a shit who brought up the topic first. The fact is John Boehner and Mitch McConnell took it and ran in order to make the story as outrageously huge as possible. McConnell was calling for nonbinding theatrical Senate votes on it. Republicans of all sorts testified on the floor of Congress. Then the Republicans led by Darrell Issa and Boehner decided to have official hearings on the matter with as much media hoopla as possible. The right-wing media erupted. They couldn't get enough of this story and it's associated Obama bashing!

And now you're turning around and saying this issue was promoted by Democrats in order to fire up the liberal base? Are you fucking serious?

You can't be serious.

Wait.

You're seriously saying that?
