I understand. The sad fact that Liberals hate to acknowledge is that it's not just Conservatives against gay marriage.

Any lifestyle choices....if two people are consenting adults they should be able to do whatever they want as long as no ones rights are being violated no matter who or what they are.

If Jon Doe wants to smoke crack/pot/coke/heroin/meth etc. like a dumb ass and destroy his body, he makes the choice he lives with the consequences just like booze and ciggs.

If Suzie Q want's to be a whore and use abortions as birth control...her problem.

Marriage is a religious institution right? why is who marries who any fucking business of the government?

None of these things should be paid for/funded nor prohibited etc. by the gov. because THEY ARE NOT GOVERNMENT ISSUES.The government is not a life coach for micromanaging peoples lives in a free society. I call that tyrannical over steeping of government control/power.

Once again why is marriage even an issue? Because of taxation and other legal ramifications (mostly taxation...follow the money right!)? Cool....then under the fourteenth amendment everyone is to be treated equally under the law are they not? If so the gov should have no say over who anyone marries as long as they come up with the cash to purchase that marriage licence.

I am a Libertarian and thanks for being cool about it. I like things from both sides (issue dependent of course) and hate things from both sides.....but all of those things are nothing more than my own personal bull shit.
