I'm going to see Elton John

The ideal would be a show that doesn't include anything after 1976 except for the occasional tune.

No honky cats or crocodiles or rockets. Just no.
I saw him more than 20 years ago at Red Rocks, and that was already a nostalgia tour for him. I can't think of too many of the dinos I'd still want to see. Dylan might be it.

I don't recall him singing this at any of the concerts I attended.

One of his renditions of the title track on the other hand was quite memorable.

I wore out my mom's vinyl while I wailed that tune at the basement ceiling.

Madman and Tumbleweed are on my iPod, I wouldn't give a dime for the rest of his stuff.

I'd like to see Dwayne and Gregg Allman...

*ahem* No Yellow Brick Road?

I saw him play Funeral For A Friend/Love Lies Bleeding with his original bass player Dee Murray (RIP) many years ago...saw a string on the bass guitar snap during the song and lash him (Murray) across the face.

Mom didn't have that one.

ETA: I do very much like the marriage of those pieces; like Glad/Freedom Rider by Traffic. Off to d/l. Maybe I'll be the winner.

With a little luck maybe Barry Manilow will stop by, hopefully you'll have an extra pair of panties, if he does.

I saw him last year at the Palladium in Hollywood
He only did his new work, nothing old
It was so very disappointing, people walked out

And those tickets were $125 each

I'm actually more excited about this than I thought I would be. I suppose it's too much to ask that he not sing Candle in the Wind.

You may be sick of that song, but when he does it live......its good. Saw him in College, good show!

I hear Neil Young only does his new stuff. For that price you wanna hear the classics.
