Cyber-bullying on Literotica

Huh- look at that, it's literally like I deleted him, he just disappeared.

Threads and all.

For some reason I thought it would just get rid of posts. I guess if the person you're ignoring started a thread, then it gets rid of those threads to.

I am...

Just so very happy...

...That Honey123 was able to help you.

If she helps just one person learn...

...That cyber bullying is preventable...

Simply by using the ignore button...

Then this ridiculous thread was worth it...

 I am pretty sure Blunty suggested that. I just requoted her or do you think I am this NightL? I have never made an alt. If I have something to say, I will.

LOL, she quoted you so I used you as the example. But it could just have easily been Blunt or anyone else that pointed out how simple it is to just put someone on ignore.

Not sure who said it, but we're not talking about teens here who can be cyber-bullied. But the overly self-righteous OP suggesting that cyber bullying is a problem here on an adult site with features like ignore built in is pretty funny to me.

I rather not see the person posting at all! If you have someone on ignore and they post on a thread they did not start, where there post is it will state that you cannot read this post because you have "..." whoever, on ignore.

I do not care to even see that.

Nah, I get what she's saying. People want to spill over into RL- I posted a rant about shit and people literally went and tried to find me. It was pretty fucked up. I could certainly see some of the folk here going all cyber-stalker. I think she has a point. You can't ignore shit like that.

and an off button on your computer. I know the family of someone who committed suicide for being cyber bullied...but it was by someone that was in his life...not so much an anonymous poster.

Internet cyber bullying is something we can all relate to because we've been on either side. I think that when it deals with classmates, roommates, or people that are in your everyday REAL life is the worst. You don't have that ignore button. The only thing you can do is remove that child from school, leave your job or move to another town/city/state.

Internet bullying can be done in the most subtle ways as well. Ignoring just one person post among others, is way of that person bullying, especially if done in a consistent manner. That person is making you aware that you are not worth it. And let's face is, when you want to bully someone you telling them that they are not worth it.

Either case, I just think that when the OP begins to get angry and start yelling at the people who are posting then the thread itself is laughable.

Even funnier is the OP's motivation for this thread...it's a spin-off of a post she started a few days back, taking me, QueenLevitra, Quoll and Sean to task for picking on poor Karen Kraft who was just trying to make a thread.

I enjoy the ignore button. It's like a virtual murder, but if I am feeling benevolent, I can bring them back to life. I am God!!! On an average day I will ignore 3 or 4 people who are annoying me, but will frequently unignore them at sometime in the future.

I do have a list of about 200 on PermIgnore - they are mostly starters of NETs, alts, exceedingly boring C&P'ers or racists who never say anything I want to hear.

This is my world, and you all only exist in it at my pleasure:cool:

There are a number of people who PM me, because I am the nice and warm fuzzy type, who complain about you harrassing them to the point of making a "Leaving Lit Forever" thread. In other words, they say you are mean.

I'm just putting it out there.

That's why I have PMs off. I'd rather them whine to my underlings.

Sometimes you seriously have to just beat the living shit out of people. You do- I know that's bad, and especially coming from a scrawny nerd like me, but the thing is- if a bully knows without a doubt that you will put that motherfucker in the ground they stop. But you have to be seriously willing to kill them. I've been in enough stand-offs to know that there's a difference between someone who will kill you, and someone who will hurt you. A bully wants to hurt you. Don't kill yourself. Do whatever you have to to protect yourself. I'm suicidal because i hate myself, but I'll be damned if i base my self-worth on someone else hating me. I'm a little guy, buy I want it more. You might get me, you might put me down, break my back, hell, you might be able to kill me. But I'm at least taking out an eye, or crippling you, because i want it more. And then they have to ask themselves, "Do I want to go through life with one eye? Do I want to go to jail because I killed this dumbass?"

I've got a lot of scars and shit, but this philosophy seems to have kept me alive.

Stupid philosophy.

He does tend to babble and miss the entire point at times.

You dear, should be sealed in glass that says "Break when mind blowing orgasm is required".

I know..he really should just stick the important things, like me.

and like my mind blowing orgasm giving...It's what I was born to do.

Oh I know and understand .. I have a 15 year son, who was tormented last year as a Freshman. Finally he got so enraged he hauled off and hit the kid. Mostly. He ended up hitting the locker behind the kid. So, he goes into the nurse's office holding his hand and she is like..."Oh NO! Is it your left hand????"

Background..my son is a lefty pitcher.. and yes it was. He actually ended up with a Boxer Fracture, which he enjoyed telling everyone about... :)

But, that kid never bothered him again, and now when someone sells shit to him, he knows he can stand up to them.

And again, here on the internet you can say anything you want and do anything you want. When the person steps outside of that to actually harm the person in their every day life, then there is a serious problem there.

Which reminds me, my last two invoices to you for my administrative services are past due, and Honey123 wants to know if you got your Valtrex prescription refill.

Your invoices have been received and are currently being reviewed by our Fraud Prevention Unit. If they are found in good order, they will be approved for payment and referred to our Accounts Payable Department.

The JohnnySavage is disease free and fit as a fiddle. Although the Salt Peter seems to be ineffective when Honey123 is around.

Why would you put salt on your peter?
