PETA: Pets Euthanization Totally Authorized

I can see the dilemma for a conservative. On one hand they protest against corporations, but on the other hand, they are ruthless killers.

This isn't new information. PETA is against people having pets in general. Hardly anybody liberal or otherwise supports PETA any how.

Why do I have to have a fucking solution? I'm betting that many supporters of PETA have no idea they are putting down the majority of their animals without finding homes for them, like they prefer to say in order to get funding.

I would say very few who give money to PETA understand that PETA's agenda is the elimination of any use of any animals or animal products for anything whatsoever.

I would bet they have no plans for the billions of domesticated animals should they achieve their goal, because zelots never see past their singular objective.

i wonder whether animals can be warehoused indefinitely for free while owners are sought?

or, maybe the flow in the pipeline of kittens and puppies can be stopped for a few generations while homes can be found for those already in the system.

I must have missed the memo enshrining PETA as some kind of liberal icon. Which isn't to say there aren't liberals in PETA, but most liberals I know care more about the problems facing human beings.

It's easy to criticize without solutions.

Especially when you're an aging Marine who posts like a registered sex offender.

Here's an exercise for ya....when was the last time that Vetteman actually admitted being in error on something? You'd think with 90,000+ posts he'd have made a single mistake along the way!

Just kidding....the vaunted "Marine Corps Honor" which rationalizes killin' babbies as "collateral damage" precludes him from owning up to his mistakes.

Based on this article, it seem like some pitiful results.

I totally understand that some animals are unadoptable but the local Humaine Society here has successfully adopted out more than 6000 dogs & cats (60%+ Adoption rate). I have two dogs from there myself.

If this is truly what is happening, then PETA should leave animal care to the organizations like the ASPCA & Humaine Society.

It's stupid to suggest PETA is just liberals. Obviously they aren't.
It's equally stupid to suggest one needs an alternative solution to disagree with what someone does. PETA is being hypocritical. I don't need another method of dealing with the problem to know that.

The problem with this is that in some areas (where I am for example) the Humane society and ASPCA are either kill only shelters or they charge people to bring in animals. Doesn't give a person much choice. We don't have ones like you see on Animal Planet that happily take in strays and fix 'em up all nice.
