I don't want to be spreading myself to thin. Some subs don't require as much time as others! But I don't know how many is too many? I have a stable. Some are full time and some are part time but all are sincere in their wanting my time. I am giving of my time dependent on their status. But can anyone answer the question?
I am looking for sincere thoughts on this subject! All thoughts and comments are appreciated!

This is one of those super subjective areas. if you feel like you have too many, you probably have too many. simple as that, imo.

One at the best the second is one to many

Do you have a job ... other than Dom?
Ive been tossing up looking for one (wife is vanilla) and you have a 'stable' of subs. LOL

Don't think about it too hard, Corbal... He's been randomly posting dumb-ass shit in reply to people for the past few days...

As for the original question, that depends on the Dominant. If all parties are satisfied and happy, then I don't think the number matters all that much.

*insert Kosh like bells and whistles here.... Yes*

As Stella said, one more than you can satisfy. They'll let you know.

Generally by bailling out on you.

The answer depends entirely on whether they are real or imagined.

Honestly, I think a far more interesting question is this: how did you attract a "stable" of submissives with a screen name that evokes tiny distracted animals?

Oh, wait...

You are a female Top. Well then! There is no such thing as "too many". Make the boys serve you, wait and beg for your attention. Demand tribute and gifts. Have fun.

Yes, it's a double standard. Women have half the money and all the nookie and they have the most target rich environment to choose from. And no "refractory period". Guys, get over it.

On the (admittedly weak) assumption that this post is actually real and tells of an actual, real-life dilemma, I still contend that the limit is the number of individuals that one can satisfy. Remember: satisfaction comes in many more forms than as the result of penile penetration. There's even the small matter of emotional satisfaction, no?

Okay my friend, you need to turn in your Guy Card. These are stable subs, to be used as desired, ridden hard, curry combed, fed, watered, and put in the paddock until she wants her next ride.

What? Wait, damn, this isn't in the Cafe'? WTF am I thinking?

In my opinion, a D/S relationship is between two people (the dom/domme and the sub) and possibly a second sub should it be a consensual three-way relationship. If it is more on the level of the sub understanding that there are others in the dom/domme's life, then I would say the limit would be how many you can decently give your attention to. If you divide your attention too much that some of the subs feel like they aren't cared about, they will leave in search of a different dominant that will give the attention that they need.

I wonder...how much satisfaction does one need before it becomes greed?

I agree with you DVS. Personally, I'm a one sub guy. I have my sub and I give her all of my attention. I couldn't even see myself taking more than one sub on at a time.

I thank everyone for their comments

This is a real question! As I am somewhat new to the bdsm exp( I have only been in the lifestyle for 6mos ) and this is all online only. For FYI! But I will take in to consideration what are real genuine comments. And I thank you! Its helpful for me a budding Domme.

Then you can have as many as you can type to without your fingers falling off.

Furthermore, I am going to ask you what you think the words "domme" and "sub" mean, because your answer can change my advice.

And what the fuck is wrong with greed?
:catroar:

Generally, nothing. :) However, if one was new to the lifestyle as a Dom/me I would think it more important to hone their skills with one or perhaps two before taking on an entire stable full. Then again, if one is only talking of ropes, knots, floggings, canings, etc...perhaps the level of skill is not as vital. *shrugs*
