By the time she was got gone - the gonning was far more entertaining than anything it may have ever posted. It won't be missed - though for a short time it will be part of the lore. Nonetheless, the second line as always, steals this show. Ahh the gyrations and riffs and peacocking 'round the fresh black hole both reinforce and embellish the lot of old standards. New players seem slightly out of sync - either speaking whilst they should be humming or leading while they should be listening. While the dynamic is ever changing, the ritual does have rather strict rules.

The rarities of course are the most interesting... the resurrecteds who climb from the box - Hester Prynne themselves - and remoniker to reinsinuate themselves. Their second comings are always interesting - if humbled by their first. Unwritten strict rules. There's always a price to notoriety - just as there is indeed a price to simply post. Redactions be damned! There is no collective spotless mind when next one logs on.

I think it's because she was semi-popular, generally well liked, or at least not really hated with a passion by too many people. Those who didn't like her probably weren't aware of her - as you say, many probably disregarded already.

It's difficult for people to do a complete 180 if they were previously on reasonably pleasant terms with her - doing so might expose the contrast of the then and now. At the same time, they can't defend her, because it's not really defensible.

It was also shut down pretty fast, I'm not sure the general populace is actually even aware of exactly what the story is.

I think she was pretty savvy in reading people. As soon as she saw what she stepped into with that Michelle Obama comment, she never went that far again. She made it easy for many to overlook her more unsavory aspects. And she certainly seemed genial enough if you could overlook them.

It must suck to be a pariah, though. I can see why she'd try to create a social life online.
