A liberal anti-gun group attempted to get people to boycott Starbucks today because the chain's policy follows local and state laws regarding firearms possession in their stores, but it failed miserably. Law-abiding patriots flocked to the stores to support them.

What a great country!

Even if their overpriced coffee sucks.

Boycotts don't work unless you're the only part that a) has money or b) cares.

Boycotts also don't work unless you get the message out. Anyone heard about a Starbucks boycott until now?

Didn't somewthing similar happen w Whole Foods last year? Some exec supported the Tea Party, some hipsters got angry and wanted a boycott, and all of a sudden there was an enormous upswing in the interrest in eco grown produce from conservatives who'd never set foot in such a store before.

Yep, bought my first Starbucks today.

I can't afford a Starbucks coffee.

But I have enjoyed watching, as I peered through the window on a chilly winter night.

From what I hear, only the 1% can afford Starbucks coffee.
Tax those bastards.

So the same people who supported Starbucks because of this policy were probably the same ones who boycotted them over their policy of giving benefits to an employees' homosexual partner.

Mass hilarity ensues.

The owner of Whole Foods was against business mandated health care.

Not that I cared to shop there anyway since it's overpriced garbage.

Next up, Ellen DeGeneres is threatened with a boycott because she lets the studio audience wear side arms. When it comes to a contest between the sanctity of marriage and the right to bear arms, a shot gun wedding is the only solution.
