Yes, Sir. The part where Marky Mark gets shot at the beginning and while he's patching himself up, he goes into the store to get a tube, a needle, some water and sugar (that may not be the exact list, but sugar is on the list). The FBI later explains that there was a time where sugar was used to treat old battle wounds.

I forgot about that scene. Wasn't he making IV fluid, though? I don't recall.

None, this evening.....

Still, there's a lovely variety in the garage.

I had a couple of California Golds this evening. Local brewery in San Diego. I guess San Diego has the most craft breweries in the USA? Maybe?

I dunno. Might be worth a trip to check it out.

Um...yeah he was, pretty much a MacGuyvered up IV kit.

I probably dismissed the idea, then. But sugar as a topical agent wouldn't have been a bad idea.

On second thought, I guess in a pinch you could do an improvised IV like that, but why? He could just have drunk the fluids. If he put in the right blend of sugar and salt, he's effectively making Gatorade. He'd still absorb it pretty fast that way.

True, though it was a Hollywood movie. So you gotta ask yourself, which way is more badass? Forget practicality....if it makes the star look like a badass mofo, that's what is important.
