Most romantic city in the world?

I would say Los Angeles. Its the place where dreams are made, and anything is possible.

Florence - arts, river, bridges, tradition of tying lock together on the bridge and throwing keys in the river, weather, cafes and Italy!

No.

It's not even Italy's most romantic city, Venice is for lovers and no where near as dirty.

Overall, Paris by WAY far.

I haven't been to Venice, but Rome's not dirty! (at least not in winter).

I love Paris more than anything, but I don't find it especially romantic, maybe because I can't NOT always be busy there.

But Rome is so small and tucked in on itself and has this sort of rippling masculinity and it smells like history and marble and gasoline and has all those little churches. Not to mention Roman men and their flirting!

Have you been to Naples?

You will forget about Rome there too. The Italian men have better tans.

Naples is next on my list for Italy! I like how crazy it sounds, and I'd like to go to the opera house there.

Rome is small??????

uhm, ok

Tuskaloosa...

Just kidding, I'd say Dublin.

Ooooh, Ireland.

I wanna go to Paris- I'm an art kid and I want to be a tourist. See some amazing statues, paintings, architectural- it's gotta be romantic.

It's important to realize that I don't speak a word of French.

I've never been to Spain, that's next on my list.

I can give Madrid a miss but want to spend time in Barcelona and Seville.

My parents, who have travelled a lot, said that florence is the most romantic place in the world. They have been together for ever and argue all the time, but they said florence made them fall in love again.

For me, both Paris and Seville have been spectacularly romantic.

I hear nothing but great things about Seville.

It seems one must get there somehow.

I found Istanbul oddly romantic too, not the least of reasons being that I was alone.

Sorrento - Amalfi coast bliss in every direction. Quaint yet catching up to modern times, but not too quickly. The sea, the charm, the boats, the food, the wine. Stay at The Hotel Villa di Sorrento, a 3-star hotel with traditionally furnished and air-conditioned rooms with either a terrace or small balcony overlooking the lively Piazza Tasso.

Rome is the biggest city in Italy by a wide margin.
