Did we just lose a JP thread altogether? I was about to put a comment on such a thread--with Box being the last noted poster--and suddenly I can't see it no more. Am I just not seeing what's still there?

Anyhow, the comment was not to throw those first stones too hard. We all helped create the totally different values permitted of college sports businesses.

(And to this website, in particular. I for one, have written up a whole lot of shower sex scenes between a coach and a young player. Eighteen, for sure, to fit here. I think there's a glitch in the database queries, where a thread will disappear for a few seconds- if you happened to request the page right then, it wouldn't show up, but will show up for anyone who requests just a second later.

To me, it's like the Pope being vilified because of a few perverted priests. Guilt by association, maybe, but not the perpetrator.
How do we know what, if anything, Joe Pa did about a report of a staff member accused of "inappropriate behaviour" or worse.

The report quoted was a bit light on the issue, yet several correspondents have reacted as if Joe Pa was the sodomite, and it strikes me as being a little heavy-handed.

Oh, I think it's more than that. He was in a position of responsibility--to everyone, not just his reputation or the school's reputation--or the need to continue to feed college sports as big business no matter who gets hurt.

I think it's sad that he had to go out this way. But I think it's a general sad--not a sad for him. He deserved to face what he perpetuated before he died.

I wouldn't meet his passing with either pitchforks or trophies. Just like I met Bill Clinton's departure from office. I'll just turn my back on him and walk away. Wouldn't have commented at all if it hadn't been posted here--on a porn board--with such a two-faced introduction.

No Pilot, you jumped all over me. The conversation went from you saying how terrible this is and how you write this stuff, but its fiction. I came out and defended that saying even if you write it I am sure it is very different then the situation we are discussing.

Then somehow it turned into yet another reference to my incest stories and how I should not throw stones.

Well I will throw stones as should everyone else. This is not a debate about copyright and votes and trolling and opinions this is about a monster who covered up the abuse of children, the most heinous crime imaginable.

As always you have attempted to somehow make it about yourself.

Your decision to give personal information on yourself is yours alone (and, since I doubt you have a life history worth protecting, I can see why you wouldn't worry about doing it).
