I'm still not sure how all the technicalities of Lit work. If I ignore a person, can they still read what I write? Some things have happened in the last 24 hours to make me an absolute nervous wreck. I don't want to post anymore details here, but I am fearful. Can someone please explain to me how 'Ignore' works?

Sorry, but "ignore" is a one-way function, you just don't see posts of someone anymore. They still see yours.

As far as I know, ignoring someone doesn't affect whether or not they read your posts, so yes, they can still read. All it does is make it so that if you're subscribed to a thread, and they post to it, you won't be notified, and the content of their posts is hidden from you unless you explicitly want to read a post (there's a button for this).

Yes, they can still read your posts if you have them on your ignore list.

Yes, they can. You can't read theirs, but they can read yours (unless, of course, they iggy you).

VG, if someone is threatening you or "crossing the line" as far as PMs, you can PM ChargerGirl and she might be able to help.

All Ignore does is block you from seeing what people on the list post. You can't totally block someone from seeing your posts. Unless, like above, they Ignore you.

If someone is hassling you, I would PM a mod like I said above AND make yourself invisible.

If they start a thread you will not see it.

^^^^^ This. It doesn't block them entirely, it just makes them "invisible" to you. It doesn't stop them from seeing you. Creepy, huh?
