Writing Goal for the Day?

Okay, so I'm back to my fairy tale, as I was driving here and there and while I was a passenger and my daughter was driving, I decided I was over-thinking the story and I just needed to remain true to it, but with of course my own pornographic/erotic/adult spin. :D

So bring it on Mister "Special-weed" smoking pipe holding caterpillar.

You make me glad it's not possible for me to over-think anything.

Second Valentines Day story edited and submitted.

Now back to work on the older stories.

1700 words written, 1830 words erased. I hate not getting the scene right the first time. The set up was all wrong and didn't flow right and didn't end up going where it was supposed to go.
Time to visualize a new one and write it tomorrow.

That's what they made closets for. You or the kid, your choice. :D

Oh, THAT's what closets are for. I've been sooo confused. :D

Managed to get another chapter written today before the Australian tennis started for the night.

Being an old fart, I remember what closets were originally designed for. :D

Got some editing to do and hopefully some writing. I'm trying to keep the plot bunnies in their cages while i finish up a large backlog of old stories.

I could have gone to the basement to write, but didn't want to leave her alone. Though she is 17, she was still sick and I am still mom. :)

Today I'm submitting a How To story and I'm cross-stitching, just waiting for the news to end and then I'm logging off.

Thought up a good scene last night, now to see how it plays out.

Seems the 'linear' style of start-story-ending is vanishing and a spider web of conectivity is taking over instead. Just have to keep the focus at the hub and it should come together nicely. I hope. :D

I received my rejection letter today. The research article I had such high hopes for and worked on so hard for months was turned down by Ms. Magazine.

Time to write fluff.

After a lively discussion at work over the SOPA and PIPA "Killing the spider with a sledgehammer" short-sighted legislation, I've decided that it's a good day to write "Stroke" pieces while I can.

BTW, under these bills, I could NOT use a nickname I, myself, created in 1981, because it was used later in a description of a D&D campaign printed locally and copywrited, even though the writer past away in 1998 and the magazine died in 1991!!!!

So far it's working that I can get a chapter written before the Australian Tennis Open TV coverage gets going good (lost at least two American players last night that I say--Izner and Young), but I'm finding it a chore to write in the afternoon rather than my usual late-night sessions.

I'm getting old: I watched some tennis coverage and was making the "Pong" sounds. LOL

Wrote the scene out and nailed what I wanted. It brought four previous chapters into focus and moves everything forward again.

Got chapter four of the "Death to the Past" segment of the coming habu Clint Folsom Compendium Volume Two written today. :D:D:D
