President Barack Obama on Friday took aim at his government's own messy bureaucracy, prodding Congress to give him greater power to merge agencies and promising he would start by collapsing six major economic departments into one. Pressing Republicans on one of their own political issues, Obama said it was time for an "effective, lean government."
Obama wants the type of reorganizational authority last held by a president when Ronald Reagan was in office.

The diehard liberals think Obama is moderate and that's what really counts. Anyone who is the right of center would believe Obama is a liberal but if the liberals don't think he is liberal then he isn't. In other words, for the right, if you had to choose between Obama as president or Nancy Pelosi or her other really liberal allies, who would you choose? There is definetly a left of Obama and those people really scare me.
Anyone to the right of center would believe Bill Clinton was a liberal. Less said of them the better.
