There used to be threads on the GB where someone would offer to call people on Lit if they PMed their number. In light of the current board climate that's probably just not going to happen so if anyone uses skype it's a pretty safe alternative.

Does anyone here use Skype? Y'all should post them here and then like...call each other. PROVE YOU'RE NOT ALL DUDES. Or are, as the case may be. Also, create a dummy account if you don't want to use your usual name, I dunno.

I've trade the yahoo call thing, it kinda sucks. You should give skype a go.

If your PC or internet connection or webcam is low grade you'll have slide-show issues regardless though.

First...I made the mistake of putting my Yahoo handle in my profile. That quickly changed.

Next....people couldn't understand the concept of viewing a webcam stream without sending so many messages I literally couldn't work.

Finally....some men don't seem to comprehend "I'm not taking off my damn clothes, fuck off" bit.

So now....it's a by-appointment-only sorta thing.

I have it set where I have to approve anyone watching. And I'm on the computer a lot for work related reasons....so.....it's not like they're seeing anything good.

EDIT: But...it did creep me out a bit, which is why I stopped. That, and I literally couldn't get anything done with the spam.
