Rick Perry thinks religion is more important than homosexuality

Yeah, that is true. And I think quite a lot of people (including myself has done this to the video too)

I am not a fan of Obama at all. But when guys like this are the competition, what can you do?

Vote Libertarian and say "GFY" to both major parties.

is that better solution ? lol, seriously Libertarians are more crazy.

I tend to agree with this guy on the libertarians. To me, the libertarians are those who will clap their hands over the NDAA. But then again, that is how I see them. But if you ask me, then people should vote blank, so neither person will get a vote from you.

Here is basically a follow up to his other rant higher up

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T86Hfz0R6MY

Anyway, that is my opinion on the matter.

I must point out, that he uses some words, that are derogatory. But he is ranting, so he does NOT mean the few words.

I've seen lots of people in here defending the occupiers for their right to freedom of speech!

it works both ways!

I just wanted to remind people of that.

this comment has nothing to do with agreeing or disagreeing with perry or the occupiers.

and yes everyone here who comments on perry and his right to his thoughts is exercising their right as well.

it always astonishes me how many people think that "the right to free speech" means "the right to never be disagreed with."

Yes indeed, everyone has the right to say the stupidest, ugliest shittiest, most bigoted thing they can think of. They don't get to expect applause or approval for saying it.

The fact that both Perry and Santorum are finding approval in Iowa fills me with nausea and dismay. I don't ever want to be within a hundred miles of Iowa. That's my opinion.

just me, I'm sure either one of them would ever want to be near you!

what astonishes me is the fact that you think you are the only person in the country.

everyone has a right to be heard. and if you choose to disagree you have that right too. pretty sure I made that clear too.

now that we have all used our right to be heard and disagree with one another. have a great day friend

So far you haven't said anything that I disagree with, except for your one really stupid assumption about me. I can guarantee that is stupid, because I know the person you're talking about, which you really do not. (that's very often the reason people say stupid fucked up things, ignorance.)

Have a good one yourself!

you are the one who put the "the right to free speech" in quotes like i did. certainly reasonable to think you were referring to me.. I was the last to comment before you.

what person do you think I was talking about. I think you just went a bit nuts on me.

you are right... you can't fix stupid

And I'm sure you feel the EXACT same way about every state that sends delegates to the GOP National Convention, right?

It was a REPUBLICAN caucus, deary, not a state wide vote or endorsement.

P.S. we don't WANT your ass within a hundred miles of Iowa!

Safe Bet, you are right, I apologise. The nausea makes it hard to think, sometimes. When I think about this coming political year and the brutal future that we may well face... not always at my best.

yes, I was responding to you. I wasn't disagreeing with anything you said, I was enlarging on what you said.

yes, everyone has the right to say whatever they want. You do, I do, Safe Bet does. Santorum and Perry do too.

People like me and you who are not politicians running for office have a bit more leeway in what we say, since we are less culpable in the public sphere. For instance, Safe Bet can disinvite me to Iowa till the cows come home. She can't actually enforce that-- still she's free to say what she thinks. Similarly, I can't make Mitt Romney or Ron Paul explode in a cloud of slime and body parts-- although I can say that I wish they would.

However, I am glad that the rightwing's political figures have loosed the reins on their tongues. It's better than them hiding their true and ugly selves from the electorate.

You are forgetting a few things here:

The way to the General Board, where people like you hang out.
The fact that homosexuality is not a choice, but religion clearly is.
The seperation between church and state, a lot of American politicians seem to forget that.

well that is true. that is a feeling of most conservatives.
right, wrong or completely off the wall to some. its just a view. we all have those.

luckily we are all still able to have them,LOL

my original statement wasn't intended to get personal or start a firefight debate. I will apologize for misunderstanding your intent also. sometimes things and subtle meanings are missed through text.

wow, I guess I better go because PEOPLE LIKE ME aren't allowed in here.

maybe that is a good example of why things will never change.....

I'll make you a deal, Stella. If you can make Romney, Paul AND Santorum explode into slime and body parts, not only will I invite you to Iowa, I'll pay your way here! (Leave Bachmann to me though, cuz I'd like to personally fist THAT bitch into oblivion!)

Are people like you ALLOWED here? Certainly!

Are people like you WELCOME here? That depends!

If you're gay or Bi and have differenting views - Sure! Just realize you'll be called on them.

If your some straight guy "sharing" your heterocentric definition of equality, morals and/or freedom? Not so much cuz we are bombarded with that same shit every damn day and come here to get the fuck away from it!

BTW, I can tell from all of your comments just how open minded you seem to be. "Change" does not involve us always kowtowing to hetero beliefs. That also WILL be a two way street!

that seemed pretty clear to me that people like me aren't welcome here. we only should hang out in the general board were we belong.....

oh well..

simple chat always seems to lead to so much hate

If you can't handle this conversation, you will die a million deaths over at GB. Really, they will eat you alive.

oh its just chat. I walk away laughing most of the time.

this is a nice place to come , read what people say and think with no real life accountability.

I like to have face to face discussions with people. they tend to be more civil when their actions can't back up their words.

but still this is fun to come and see people get their panties all knotted up for no particular reasons.

I've never been known to walk away from anything. let alone a chat room, that is just silly talk,LOL

I love the fact that when you do a search on Santorum a link to this is on page 1.

santorum (san-TOR-um) n.
1. The frothy mixture of lube and fecal matter
that is sometimes the by-product of anal sex.
2. Rich Santorum

If you all were not so into going after each other, some of you would realise. That worse matters are at hand at the moment, cause there is an anti LGBT group, that is insane. And begins to boycott scout cookies, so a transgendered girl can not become a girlscout, and Canada has gone backwards in time by dissolving loads of same sex marriages. That is just what I have read today in LGBT related news. Scary world huh ?
