“While an employer is not required to ‘prefer’ a learning-disabled applicant over other applicants with more extensive qualifications, it is clear that the EEOC is informing employers that disabled individuals cannot be excluded from consideration for employment based upon artificial barriers in the form of inflexible qualification standards,” she wrote in a blog post.
Grade point redistribution. You thought it was only a joke.
It's a HS diploma that's the joke, anyway.
At this point a bachelor's is almost a joke too...

DIPLOMAS DISCRIMINATE AGAINST THE DISABLED.
I'm so fucking sick of people who suggest we should avoid anything and everything that might make someone, somewhere in the world, a little sad. Yes, let's demoralize the academic elite to keep from offending the few people who couldn't meet high school's barely-existent standards. When the fact that they can't cut the mustard necessary to pursue their lifelong dreams to become doctors starts to "offend" them as well, let's just sieze that opportuniity to solve our cost-of-healthcare issues while we're at it. Fuck.
She can irk me all she likes.
The EEOC idjit quoted in the article says this won't lead to more dropouts. That right there telegraphs their intent. Of course it will. The more slack-jawed know-nothings we have, the easier it is to get Democrats voted into office.
And teachers unions will demand ever more extravagant perks and employment conditions.

Occupy Wall Street, the Next Generation.
Almost as ignorant and dangerous as those Occupying DC.
I'm a big believer that God packs special prizes in every bag of CRACKER JACK. If you dont get the plastic whistle maybe you get the plastic magnifying glass or the secret decoder ring. I think God likes to spread the glory around. And if you dont get one of the really kewl prizes maybe God lets you live 90 years with no health problems. Or youre ten feet tall and bullet-proof.
Steve Jobs made a gozillion bux and cashed out at 56.
In the case of some humans, I think blissful ignorance IS their prize.
Some of us are doomed to be Nellie Olson.
Did any of you actually read the linked piece? No, I didn't think so.
Oh. It's you.
Yes, I did. Did you need me to summarize it for you?
And, by the way.....a prot or holy pally SHOULD beat a rogue consistently. Ret should too, if you're not a noob.
Oh how ironic. A learning disabled person shows up to prove the absurdity of the entire premise of the EEOC's letter.

Actually, it's a quote from The Guild. But keep showing your ignorance, it's funny.
It was a true statement, regardless of where your quote came from. And I'm pleased that I amuse you. Please believe it is my sole purpose in life and my reason for existence.
