I'm so fucking sick of people who suggest we should avoid anything and everything that might make someone, somewhere in the world, a little sad. Yes, let's demoralize the academic elite to keep from offending the few people who couldn't meet high school's barely-existent standards. When the fact that they can't cut the mustard necessary to pursue their lifelong dreams to become doctors starts to "offend" them as well, let's just sieze that opportuniity to solve our cost-of-healthcare issues while we're at it. Fuck.

The EEOC idjit quoted in the article says this won't lead to more dropouts. That right there telegraphs their intent. Of course it will. The more slack-jawed know-nothings we have, the easier it is to get Democrats voted into office.

And teachers unions will demand ever more extravagant perks and employment conditions.

I'm a big believer that God packs special prizes in every bag of CRACKER JACK. If you dont get the plastic whistle maybe you get the plastic magnifying glass or the secret decoder ring. I think God likes to spread the glory around. And if you dont get one of the really kewl prizes maybe God lets you live 90 years with no health problems. Or youre ten feet tall and bullet-proof.
