I know I'm a little early, but I'll be on the road bright and early tomorrow.

I hope everyone who celebrates Christmas has a very merry day--full of family, friends, laughter, and reflection. Peace on earth, good will toward men, women, and little critters, too.

Sleigh bells ring, are you listening?

In the lane, snow is glistening.

A beautiful sight, we're happy tonight, walking in a winter wonderland.

Merry Christmas!

Thank you, Happy Holidays to you and yours. Above all, have a safe journey there and back!

Merry Christmas

I find myself listening to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, searching for the true meaning of Christmas. I think I may have succeeded.

Happy Holidays to all of you.

Old City Bar
In an old city bar
That is never too far
From the places that gather
The dreams that have been

In the safety of night
With its old neon light
It beckons to strangers
And they always come in

And the snow it was falling
The neon was calling
The music was low
And the night
Christmas Eve

And here was the danger
That even with strangers
Inside of this night
It's easier to believe

Then the door opened wide
And a child came inside
That no one in the bar
Had seen there before

And he asked did we know
That outside in the snow
That someone was lost
Standing outside our door

Then the bartender gazed
Through the smoke and the haze
Through the window and ice
To a corner streetlight

Where standing alone
By a broken pay phone
Was a girl the child said
Could no longer get home

And the snow it was falling
The neon was calling
The bartender turned
And said, not that I care
But how would you know this?
The child said I've noticed
If one could be home
They'd be all ready there

Then the bartender came out from behind the bar
And in all of his life he was never that far
And he did something else that he thought no one saw
When he took all the cash from the register draw

Then he followed the child to the girl cross the street
And we watched from the bar as they started to speak
Then he called for a cab and he said J.F.K.
Put the girl in the cab and the cab drove away
And we saw in his hand
That the cash was all gone
From the light that she had wished upon

If you want to arrange it
This world you can change it
If we could somehow make this
Christmas thing last

By helping a neighbor
Or even a stranger
And to know who needs help
You need only just ask

Then he looked for the child
But the child wasn't there
Just the wind and the snow
Waltzing dreams through the air

So he walked back inside
Somehow different I think
For the rest of the night
No one paid for a drink

And the cynics will say
That some neighborhood kid
Wandered in on some bums
In the world where they hid

But they weren't there
So they couldn't see
By an old neon star
On that night, Christmas Eve

When the snow it was falling
The neon was calling
And in case you should wonder
In case you should care

Why we're on our own
Never went home
On that night of all nights
We were already there

 Merry Christmas to you too, Babs, and a happy New Year. And the same to everybody who happens to read this.

Babs, Dear, if you think I'm walking anywhere, you have another think coming.

Merry Christmas, Everyone.

Merry Christmas to everyone!

Very recently someone asked me how does a Satanist celebrate Christmas? WEll like Santa, I celebrate it with 3 HO's.

Okay just kidding, I only have one Ho, the one I married.

But as for celebrating it, I only speak for myself as every Satanist (of The Levay variety anyway) sets their own rules.

First off I have kids so always celebrated the "material" aspect of it. It's a time to give and recieve gifts enjoy your friends and family and take a moment to be grateful.

I do not believe Christ was the son of God, or God himself (oneness vs Trinity the age old Catholic vs Holy roller debate)

However, I do believe That Jesus Christ was a great man. One who preached a message of love and peace. So I respect him for that.

Unfortunately, this is where the Satanist in me is compelled to add "Look what it got him"

Anyway I hope everyone here enjoys their day and has a happy healthy and safe New Year as well.

Happy, Healthy, Heart-filled, Healing Holidays to One and All! My wish is for you to have gratitude and find contentment in what you do have, but not to stop believing in the magic of possibilities - including love! ♥

Please remember that although this can be a difficult time of year, missing those who are no longer with us, they are always near if we just listen and pay attention to the signs of love they have to share with us.

And add some naughty/steaminess! ;)

Merry Christmas

May your holiday be filled with joy and happiness! :)

The very Merriest Christmas to you also Sin. Hope Santa gives you all you could possibly want.

Babs, Merry Christmas and safe travels. We're traveling early in the morning too, did the Santa stuff last night so little one could enjoy the day unrushed.

Dual Triode, LOVE Transiberian Orchestra and that's a fitting song! :)

Merry Merry to Everyone!

And mustn't forget, HAPPY SOLSTICE too!

Merry Christmas (and every other Solstice Celebration as well), Barb (and everyone else as well)!

Thank you everyone for your wishes to me, but I started this to wish everyone else a Merry Christmas. I wasn't looking for anything in return, but Hell's bells....this was really nice to read.

I came home yesterday. It was supposed to be a three-hour drive, and it took five! At least that kept my speed down on the highway. Not like my drive going to my daughter's when the trooper pulled me over on the highway. Yah! He said he had been following me for a couple of miles doing eighty and when I started to pull away from him, he decided he needed to find out why I was rushing. The car was so packed with gifts and my suitcase was wedged in against the glove compartment, I couldn't even get to the registration. He wrote me up with a warning and said Merry Christmas. That might have been my best gift of the season.

When I drove into the driveway, the cable wire from the house was laying in the driveway and another huge branch laid next to the driveway. Apparently, it was pretty windy by the river during the weekend.

Last night, without any social connections, I sat and reflected on what a horrible year 2011 has been for me. I also thought about all of the good that has happened this year. The good far outweighs the horrible. I'm happy and life is good, again and can only get better from here on out. BRING ON 2012!:nana::nana::nana:

Welcome back Bab's. Although a little slow, glad you are safe. May 2012 start off on a brighter foot!:)

Sounds like Santa had nothing on your packed sleigh Nice!!

Sweet to give you a warning too!

Enjoy the rest of your holiday.
