What amazes me..is the overall lack of coverage....70 years ago, the world changed forever....too often, we are too busy to reflect on the past, to remember those that came before us.....

We don't have a lot of coverage on the anniversary of Yorktown either. These things are important but we can't spend our lives commemorating everything that ever happened. Eventually 9/11 will fade away, too.

OK. I'll grant you that he approved massive lending to the English after the German invasion of France and the low countries. Still, he did not use American force to protect the merchant marines and much of what we were sending was sunk by U-boats.

He didn't do a thing for the Chinese though.
