Glad to see that the UK got all of their people out of Iran. That situation looks strikingly similar to what happened to the U.S. embassy years ago...something I'm sure many posters here know nothing about because it was before you were born.

I don't know how it happened, but the host country is suppose to make sure embassies are secure. They say it's kids, but that's just who it was when the U. S. embassy was over taken. I think the government is either behind this or somehow allowed it, because of the new sanctions against their nuclear program.

Now Germany has taken their people out of Iran too, and I think it would be safer for all countries backing the new sanctions to do the same. It seems that Iran has a problem with their youth population, at least that's how it looks on this side of the sand box.

Number of thugs attacking the British embassy this week: a couple dozen (while Iranian police stood by and watched).

Number of Green protesters in 2009: hundreds of thousands (while Iranian police arrested, tortured, shot, tried, and executed those demonstrators).

Iran has a problem with a brutal theocratic/autocratic regime.
